PVC floor is a new generation of floor decoration material which is popular in the European and American home decoration market. It was first born in Europe in the early 1960s and was introduced into production and use by the United States in the 1960s. SPC floor is made of PVC base material extruded by extruder combined with T-shaped die. PVC wear-resistant layer, printing layer and PVC base material are respectively heated and laminated by calender. The process is simple and the lamination is completed by heat without glue. The main material of SPC stone-plastic floor is natural stone powder. The material does not contain formaldehyde and any radioactive elements. It can provide a comfortable and healthy environment for residents. 
Waterproof, skid-proof, fire-proof and flame-retardant 
SPC floor has strong waterproof performance. It solves the problem of mildew, arch and peculiar smell of traditional wood flooring due to high humidity. Compared with the PVC floor made of LVT sheet, the stone powder content of lock-type SPC floor is higher. Paving without glue can effectively avoid the glue deformation caused by soaking. 
When SPC floor is immersed in tap water at room temperature for 24 hours, there is no bubble deformation on its surface, and its expansion rate is only 0.12%. Compared with other floor products, this expansion rate can be neglected, which shows that the waterproof performance of SPC floor is extremely superior. 
The fire-proof index of SPC floor can reach B1 level, next only to stone, and SPC floor itself will not burn, high temperature is not easy to deform, can effectively play a flame-retardant role.

Strengthened wood flooring is a relatively wear-resistant material in the flooring industry. The wear resistance of its aluminium trioxide surface can reach more than 12,000 revolutions. The wear resistance of SPC floor surface varies according to the thickness of its PVC wear-resistant layer. The wear resistance of 0.55mm PVC wear-resistant layer can reach around 12000-20000 rpm. Compared with the soft LVT PVC floor, its wear resistance and impact resistance are stronger.

Traditional floor paving over 8 meters requires the installation of T-shaped strips, while stone-plastic floor can be paved in a large area of 400 square meters without T-shaped strips, and no buckles need to be installed in the doorway position when the whole house is paved.

The SPC floor with high stone powder content and the traditional LVT floor with low stone powder content were put into a closed space at the same time, and then the indoor temperature was gradually raised and lowered to observe the surface changes of SPC floor and LVT floor.
